I love the school because I do not have to walk all the way from home to school every day. … When I wake up, I read the Bible, go to class and study. The dangerous men cannot come to school. If they do, they cannot touch us because we have a fence and gate security. I want to study and become an important person in Uganda. I have learned to read the Bible and to pray. I know God will help me be a good girl.

On behalf of my wife and I, I would like to thank the staff at Azur Health Center and the Diocese of Bunyoro-Kitara for providing the means for us to bring our twins safely into the world. My wife’s pregnancy was nearing its end and we did not have a single coin in our pockets and we were in a fear that she would have to give birth in our home in the village. Then we found out that Azur Christian Health center would help us. We rode on my bicycle [more than 16 miles] to the Azur Christian Health Center to fi nd out if this could be true and, thanks be to the Lord, it was.

Last time when it was raining, we used to stop our activities of teaching in this school, but because God loves us, loves our village, we have nine classes, latrines, water and desks. The environment is [much improved]. Praise the Lord.
